Restore HHS & The CDC and Start Protecting The Public

I am your constituent and I am appalled that the CDC has decided not to provide test for more than two dozen serious diseases. These are diseases, like rabies, poxviruses, specific rodent carried meningitis and others that are no longer available. The reason? 25% of the staff is gone. OMB head Vought and Kennedy wanted to gut the organization and they did. Remember they also cancelled research into sickle cell disease, sleep disorders and lung cancer: these are just a few of the medical issues that were under investigation in at least 383 clinical trials that have had research grants terminated by the National Institutes of Health since February 2025. This is not Health and Human Services, it is now a disservice and the Center for Disease Control is 180 degrees out of phase - they are not testing and not controlling. We paid for Health and Human Services to help make the American Public as healthy as possible and that includes the CDC. I want you to get their funding back and restore those organizations to their original mission. Doing less will result in needless human suffering and death that you can prevent. You owe it to your constituents to start protecting them.
