Relinquish Kean’s healthcare the way he voted no to OURS!
194 so far! Help us get to 250 signers!
Good morning. As we head into our country’s 250th anniversary weekend, I’m struck by the fact that we’re doing less for our people now than we were two and a half centuries ago. Many of the tenets this country was founded on are now considered moot- life only applies to the unborn, liberty only applies to the folks who support the Trump regime, and the pursuit of happiness only applies to white middle-aged Christian nationalist men who vote for the suppression of women, non-Christian religions, and minorities…
Worst of all, we now live in a society where the people we elect to represent our best interests routinely vote for policies that destroy our quality of life while bolstering their own. To be honest, there has never been a case so obvious as the one presented by Tom Kean, Jr. of New Jersey.
While Kean voted to cut vital programs like Medicaid, Medicare, and the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP,
formerly food stamps) to pay for tax cuts that disproportionately benefit the wealthiest Americans, he also collected his tax payer funded salary and used his DC Health Exchange benefits to fund a lengthy in-patient mental health treatment stay that he announced on June 30 will be ongoing!
Constituents cannot help their mentally ill family members because Kean doesn’t want us covered, but HE gets a lengthy grippy sock vacation on OUR DIME?!?
Make it make sense.
