An open letter to the President

Give Garcia Due Process

7 so far! Help us get to 10 signers!

You must bring Kilmar Armando Abrego Garcia back from prison in El Salvador. You say you don't have the power to do that, but that is not true. You have a lot of power. Garcia is only in El Salvador because of your agreements with the government there. You are trying to grab more power by defying the Supreme Court's order to facilitate his return, but the American people will not stand by and allow this. Our Constitution promises due process to every human. Without due process, even the masked officials doing the deporting don’t know who they are deporting. Anyone, American citizen or not, criminal or not, could be the next one imprisoned. You may not care about Garcia, but as our President you must care about his right to present evidence in court to make his case. When campaigning for this highest office in the land, you said you would protect Americans if elected. Even more, you promised when you took the oath of office, as every President does, to defend the Constitution. To protect Americans and defend the Constitution, you must bring Garcia back to the US and allow him to make his case. Now.
