Fight for our First Amendment Rights

I am writing to demand that you fight with urgency and resolve to protect the First Amendment to the United States Constitution. Our nation was founded on the fundamental rights to freedom of speech, freedom of the press, and freedom of religion. These freedoms are not negotiable. They are not privileges to be granted or revoked at the whim of those in power—they are guaranteed rights owed to every American. Today, these rights are under relentless attack. Politicians are attempting to silence dissent, intimidate journalists, and restrict religious freedoms for political gain. This is not the America our founders envisioned, and it cannot be the America we allow to exist. Congress must stand as a bulwark against these assaults. You must not bow to political pressure or partisan convenience. Instead, you must make it clear—through legislation, oversight, and public action—that the First Amendment remains untouchable. Freedom of speech is the cornerstone of democracy. Freedom of the press is the safeguard of truth. Freedom of religion is the assurance that all Americans may live their faith, or no faith, without government intrusion. Without these rights, America ceases to be free. I urge you to fight fiercely and without compromise to defend the First Amendment. History will judge those who stood silent while liberty was stripped away, and those who rose to protect it.
