Schumer Must Step Down as Senate Minority Leader

Regardless of what happens with the vote for the Continuing Resolution today, it is clear that Chuck Schumer is not capable of being an effective minority leader in the Senate. For too long he has paid lip service to causes that benefit the democratic constituency, only to do very little in achieving those causes. I ask that you work with your fellow Senate Democrats in finding a replacement to Schumer as Senate Minority Leader, preferably a Senator with a more progressive voting record. The Democratic Party desperately needs new leadership in these challenging times.
