Demand for Transparency and Investigation into Withheld DOJ Epstein Files

I am writing to you today as a concerned constituent regarding deeply troubling reports concerning the Department of Justice’s handling of the Jeffrey Epstein investigation files. Recent investigations by NPR and statements from members of the House Oversight Committee suggest that the DOJ has withheld or removed dozens of pages of FBI interviews and notes. Specifically, these records allegedly detail a credible witness’s account of being sexually assaulted by Donald Trump when she was between 13 and 15 years old. While the Epstein Files Transparency Act was intended to provide full public disclosure, the current administration’s reported decision to withhold these specific files—while releasing other sensitive information—raises serious questions about a double standard in our justice system. It is appalling to see what appears to be a concerted effort to shield a powerful individual from accountability for such a heinous alleged crime. As my representative in Washington, I urge you to: 1.. Demand the immediate release of all withheld or redacted documents related to these allegations. 2.. Support a thorough, independent investigation into these claims to ensure that no person, regardless of their wealth or political status, is above the law. 3.. Inquire with the DOJ as to why these specific records were not included in the public database as mandated by law. The American people deserve the truth about the Epstein network and its associates. Our justice system loses its legitimacy when it appears to "dance around" holding the powerful accountable.
