Excuse me, "Arkansans don't want their hard-earned tax monies going to support those things"? Excuse me, sir? I, a hard-working Arkansan, DO want my tax monies going to foreign aid and public media. I do want PBS funded at the national level. I do want USAID, foreign health and infrastructure support in underserved countries, and international disaster relief. I do want international peacekeeping efforts funded. I want my taxpayer dollars going to make the whole world a better place--when you're the biggest and the richest and the toughest, you protect those around you, you better those around you. But looking at the state of America right now, it's plain that the focus is on greed, corruption, and building the big bigger and letting everyone else wither. Oh, and those Medicaid and SNAP funds that you're so sure are gonna be just fine in Arkansas? Get back to me in a year. See how badly we're struggling then. It's already hard enough to access healthcare in this state; you're delusional if you think this will pass over us with no consequences. Don't speak on behalf of citizens you refuse to engage with. Empty your office voicemail. Listen to your constituents. It's your damn job.
