An open letter to the President

Stop threatening Social Security

9 so far! Help us get to 10 signers!

Threatening to deny Social Security benefits to millions of Americans due to a disagreement with a court ruling is an unacceptable abuse of power. Social Security is not the government's money, but funds that workers have paid into over decades to ensure their retirement security. Holding these earned benefits hostage to circumvent legal oversight is unconstitutional and a dereliction of the agency's core responsibilities to the public. We call on you to immediately cease any threats against the Social Security system, respect judicial orders, and uphold your duty to efficiently administer benefits Americans have spent their lifetimes contributing toward. The integrity and continuity of this vital safety net program must be safeguarded.
