Invest in Community Land Trusts

We need to invest in Community Land Trusts. They are some of the best insurance against rising housing costs and gentrification we have. Land in a land trust is no longer used for speculation and is instead used to help people. They reduce overall market costs, prioritize the most vulnerable, and provide much more stable housing. First time home buyers in CLT property are way more likely to still own their home in 5 years. They do a much better job of maintaining the property as well. They are a powerful long term fix to the housing crisis if we invest in them.
