An open letter to the President

The gig is up. Go quietly and preserve some sense of presidential dignity.

Your inner circle is lying to you. You’re not winning the war. You’re not winning approval ratings. You’re not akin to Washington or Lincoln or Jesus or Alexander the Great. You’re not putting America first. You’re not making America great again. Your die-hard supporters may flatter your ego, but that’s because they don’t realize the truth. In your egocentric need to put your stamp on everything, you’re spiraling the country into moral and fiscal bankruptcy, and you’re eliminating all the people and programs WE THE PEOPLE will need to survive your impeachment, removal, or death. Normally, I would attribute such heinous action to your desire to destroy everything that is good and innocent in the world. However, in viewing your press conferences and listening to your interviews and speeches, it is becoming increasingly likely that you don’t even have the cognitive ability to plan such political violence. To WE THE PEOPLE, it all just reads as the demented words and actions of a doddering old man with unchecked narcissistic tendencies and a complete unawareness of how to “read the room.” Sir, you are no longer capable of making the most mundane of decisions. During a congressional hearing this week, a congresswoman asked Pete Hegseth of you were still mentally competent to hold your position. He could not answer the question. In fact, he could not offer any responses whatsoever aside from his futile attempts to redirect the conversation toward blaming Biden, per usual. Your physical and mental health have robbed you of the ability to see past your own destructive impulses. It isn’t good for you, and it isn’t good for the American people. WE THE PEOPLE beg of you to resign- to preserve some sense of presidential dignity- on your own terms. If not, WE THE PEOPLE will continue to petition Congress and VP Vance to do it for you. The gig is up- literally. Go quietly and preserve some sense of presidential dignity.
