Good morning! I am a constituent of Mount Olive, NJ- a member of your district- and a registered voter. Two evenings ago, after two impassioned speeches about how ICE is a respectable federal agency that our township can and will cooperate with in spite of our residents’ opposition, our police chief, Captain Cordileone, stood up to our town council to announce that MOPD would not be cooperating with ICE. He acknowledged that administrative warrants are not acceptable and that ICE works outside of legal means. See how easy that was? He is in a position of direct authority and chooses to live and operate lawfully within the confines of our Constitution. This is a doable task. So… maybe you should do it, too?
