Stop Harming Missouri Citizens

I doubt anyone in Missouri politics is listening to their constituents these days, yet I am hoping something will cut through the noise and make you stop this train of harmful legislation you are so determined to pass. So many issues facing our state should receive the attention you are putting toward anti-trans legislation. But, no, you’ve decided to make the lives of a small percentage of Missouri citizens harder than they already are. Trans adults and teens go through life afraid to be who they are, the person they know they are. And these are the people you target? Only bullies go after those who are the weakest, the defenseless. And that’s what you are proving yourself to be. But if you keep targeting trans people, you will be out of office when your term ends. Over 50% of the population agrees that politicians pushing anti-trans legislation is a problem, and they are likely to consider it enough of a problem that it should end your career—a career in which you are no longer doing what you were elected to do. For the benefit of all Missourians—end your hateful focus on anti-trans legislation and put it toward laws that will better the state.
