The Department of Justice is supposed to represent THE PEOPLE, independently of Executive branch influence. Here is a list of some of Trump's former personal lawyers who now work for the DOJ: Pam Bondi serves as the Attorney General. Todd Blanche is the Deputy Attorney General. Emil Bove is the Principal Associate Deputy Attorney General. Dean John Sauer serves as the Solicitor General. Alina Habba was appointed as the acting U.S. Attorney for the District of New Jersey. Stanley Woodward has been nominated for Associate Attorney General, awaiting Senate confirmation. Gail Slater serves as Assistant Attorney General for the Antitrust Division. Brett Shumate serves as Assistant Attorney General for the Civil Division. Harmeet Dhillon serves as Assistant Attorney General for the Civil Rights Division. John Eisenberg serves as Assistant Attorney General for the National Security Division. Aaron Reitz served as Assistant Attorney General for the Office of Legal Policy until June 11, 2025. Patrick Davis has been nominated for Assistant Attorney General for the Office of Legislative Affairs, awaiting Senate confirmation. T. Elliot Gaiser has been nominated for Assistant Attorney General for the Office of Legal Counsel, awaiting Senate confirmation. Chad Mizelle is the Chief of Staff to the Attorney General. Leo Terrell is Senior Counsel to the Assistant Attorney General (Civil Rights Division). Drew Ensign oversees the Office of Immigration Litigation. Richard Lawson is a Deputy Associate Attorney General. Kendra Wharton works on Trump's defense team. Jordan Fox is the Chief of Staff to the Deputy Attorney General.  Meanwhile, many DOJ staff who investigated/litigated representing THE PEOPLE against Trump have been fired by Trump's former personal attorneys listed above. This represents conflict of interest, ethical foul play, loyalty tests, corruption, and quid pro quo. Congress is supposed to be the checks and balances to keep the DOJ representing THE PEOPLE, not the President. Congress is supposed to represent THE PEOPLE, not the President.
