Federal legislation codifying a woman's right to bodily autonomy NOW!

Governor Doucey has taken it upon himself to tell the SCOTUS how to handle their docket and overturn Roe v Wade, because, in his reasoning, that "authority" rests with the states. No. Absolutely not. Roe v Wade returned the "authority" to WOMEN, where it belongs. The state should not be given "authority" to deny women our right to bodily autonomy, our right to control our bodies. Else, we automatically become de facto wards of the state should we find ourselves pregnant, with the state having the authority to deny us our right to choose, to force us to birth children. Women are not incubators for the state. Congresswoman Kirkpatrick, senators Sinema and Kelly, federal legislation MUST be introduced that permanently returns authority over women's bodies to women. Protect us. Protect your constituents' right to choose. Protect us from being forced to incubate children for the state. Anything less is codified misogyny, saying the state knows better than we do, and women have been told that for centuries. Now is the time to change it.
