Ban Congressional Stock Trading and Insider Dealing Now

Pass legislation banning members of Congress from trading individual stocks. This is not a complicated ask. Lawmakers with access to classified briefings, pending legislation, and regulatory decisions have no business playing the market with that information. It is corruption dressed up as legal activity, and it needs to stop. The public sees this clearly even if Washington pretends not to. When elected officials profit from the same decisions they make on our behalf, the entire system loses credibility. If existing law does not cover it, write a new one. Blind trusts or a full ban on individual stock ownership are both workable solutions. Pick one and move on it. My vote, and my patience, depend on it.
