Stop with the political games and work with democrats to fund our healthcare!

I am writing as a Missouri voter who is deeply frustrated and worried about the health of our community. I need you to focus on the real issue: millions of Americans are about to lose their affordable healthcare, and Congress is letting it happen. My main concern is the Affordable Care Act (ACA). If the money that helps people afford their monthly premiums goes away, my fellow citizens' health insurance costs will shoot up—maybe double or triple. For many of us, that means the difference between having coverage or losing it completely. It is wrong to allow this to happen, especially without a solid, ready-to-go replacement plan. The way this is being handled is unacceptable. As a Republican-controlled government, your party holds the power to pass a simple budget and keep the government running. Instead, you are choosing to use these crucial health subsidies as a political weapon. Frankly, the disinformation being spread by leaders like the Vice President and others—claiming that the Democrats are just trying to give healthcare to illegal immigrants—is despicable. It is an outright lie. Federal law is clear on who can get this aid. Trying to scare your own voters with this lie while simultaneously pulling the rug out from under them to take away their own health coverage is as slimy as it gets. I demand you stop the political games. Sit down with the Democrats, negotiate a sensible budget, and save the affordable healthcare that so many American families—your constituents—rely on. This is not a partisan request; it is a demand for basic, responsible governance.
