The Pentagon has spoken and their numbers are jaw dropping. The Iran war has blown a 25 billion dollar hole in our national budget. No one has been able to justify this expense. There's a word for that - waste! Imagine if 25 billion dollars had been dedicated to building solar panels and wind farms at home rather than destruction abroad. Between the growth in jobs and decrease in electric bills, energy affordability would be within reach for your voters. That would be truly great!
Instead, we have had months of reckless warfare, with civilians being forced to pay the ultimate price. Some of the very first U.S. missile strikes killed over 100 children at the Shahjareh Tayyebeh elementary school in Minab. That is government waste at its worst. Reckless warfare is reckless spending, and Congress has an obligation to stop it. Taxpayers need you to reclaim your authority under the War Powers Act and vote for an immediate end to hostilities against the Iranian people. At this time, there can be no higher priority for the House and Senate.
