Addressing Urgent Humanitarian Crisis in Gaza Strip

The situation in the Gaza Strip is dire, with approximately 30,000 Palestinians, including 11,422 children and 5,822 women, having lost their lives due to ongoing attacks. Over 56,000 have been injured, and 1.9 million people are displaced, living in inhumane conditions. The destruction of 65,600 housing units and damage to 177,200 others, along with the targeting of vital infrastructure, is alarming. It is crucial to address these violations of international humanitarian law, which are tantamount to war crimes. We urge you to use your influence to pressure the International Committee of the Red Cross and the United Nations Working Group on Arbitrary Detention to demand transparency from Israeli authorities regarding detainees, the release of arrested civilians, and an investigation into these violations. The urgency of this matter cannot be overstated.
