Help Stop The Abuse of Power In Los Angeles

This weekend has seen the federalizing of a state’s militia against its wishes for the first time since 1965. We’ve had Secretary of Defense Hegseth talking about deploying Marines from Camp Pendleton to put down a rebellion in Los Angeles. While those are disturbing in their own right it has to be remembered that there is simply no rebellion in Los Angeles. If what we’re seeing is a rebellion then the American Revolution was for nothing and the First Amendment is meaningless. You have the power to stop this. It is time to put aside this divisive reconciliation bill and use the full extent of your power to bring the Executive to heel. If necessary impeach, convict, and remove every federal official involved in this mess. This is only a crisis because the Trump administration chose to make it a crisis. Please help them see the error of their ways.
