An open letter to the U.S. Senate

Oppose restrictive SAVE Act, protect voting rights

4 so far! Help us get to 5 signers!

The SAVE Act seeks to impose restrictive voter ID requirements that could disenfranchise many eligible voters, disproportionately impacting marginalized communities. Mandating specific forms of documentary proof of citizenship raises concerns about equitable access and could create unnecessary barriers to voting. While ensuring election integrity is important, this bill appears to prioritize administrative hurdles over facilitating the fundamental right to vote. Instead of erecting obstacles, efforts should focus on expanding access to the ballot and safeguarding every citizen's ability to participate in our democracy. For these reasons, I urge you to oppose the SAVE Act and uphold the principles of an open and inclusive electoral process.
