Change time frames allowed for “acting” cabinet positions

We need changes to the regulations that determine how long a cabinet member can serve a In an “acting” capacity without Senate confirmation. It is ridiculous that Trump can appoint a party member to a very sensitive position that requires a broad knowledge of the requirements of the position almost indefinitely without Senate confirmation. Specifically, Bill Pulte, with absolutely no intelligence background, to serve as “acting “ DNI”. He has already shown his stripes in the Housing position, by giving sensitive personal information to the DOJ on some of Trump’s “enemies” in the attempt to indict them for “crimes”. Fortunately these attempts so far have failed, but who knows what intelligence might be “discovered” ( or created) to discredit an individual or even the voting process to try to swing the midterms to Trump’s favor. Bill Pulte should never be allowed to serve as DNI at all.
