I am writing to state that it is time for you to step down from your position as senator. You do not faithfully represent the will of the people who elected you, and lack the courage and determination to stand against the lawlessness of this regime. You have not impeached the president for multiple heinous acts of violence both in our country and abroad, you have not charged him for extortion nor treason as he lines his pockets with both taxpayer money and foreign wealth, you have not refused his atrociously unqualified nominees, you have not reclaimed the power of the purse as given to Congress by the Constitution, you have not protected the most vulnerable in our nation from the regime’s vitriol and retribution. You have shown you are incapable of meeting this moment in history, and it is beyond time that you self-reflect and resign. Any continuance on your part without action simply reveals your greed and self-centered lust for power.
