Stop Enabling Israel’s Genocidal Starvation Campaign — Force Aid into Gaza Now

Israel began violating the ceasefire the moment it signed it. Within hours, Israeli forces burned civilian homes, food stores, and a sewage treatment plant in Gaza City — calling these crimes their “final touches.” They even posted photos of the torched neighborhoods as trophies. As thousands of Palestinians tried to walk home to celebrate the ceasefire, Israeli soldiers opened fire. At least nine people were killed — shot dead for attempting to return to the ruins of their own homes. Now Netanyahu’s government has found a new way to weaponize famine. On Monday, it announced that humanitarian aid shipments would be cut in half — from 600 trucks per day to 300 — and that the Rafah crossing would remain closed indefinitely. Their excuse? Hamas wasn’t “working fast enough” to retrieve the bodies of hostages from beneath Israel’s own rubble. Israel is collectively punishing an already starving population for not performing the impossible quickly enough. This is an act of deliberate cruelty, a violation of international law, and a breach of the ceasefire agreement itself. Mediators warned Israel that recovering bodies within 72 hours was impossible given the devastation it caused. Netanyahu knew this — and designed the failure. It’s clear he does not want peace. He wants to destroy what’s left of Gaza and to break the will of its survivors. And once again, American weapons and American silence make it possible. While Israeli families were allowed to film joyful reunions with released hostages, Palestinian families were threatened with punishment if they dared record their own. This grotesque double standard defines Israel’s occupation — and our government’s hypocrisy. Every U.S. lawmaker who takes AIPAC money while saying nothing about these atrocities is complicit. You enable Netanyahu’s lies with every dollar of military aid and every cowardly moment of silence. Torching civilian homes after a ceasefire? AIPAC says it’s fine. Starving children after a ceasefire? AIPAC says it’s fine. But it is not fine. It is genocide, funded and excused by the United States. I demand that you act immediately to force Israel to allow full humanitarian aid into Gaza — by ending all military transfers, conditioning aid on compliance with international law, and publicly condemning Israel’s obstruction of relief. History will remember who spoke out and who stayed silent while children starved. Do not be complicit.
