We agree: unpatriotic and un-American

On January 6, 2021, Sen. Risch wrote "Today's events in the United States Capitol, meant to disrupt a process at the heart of our democracy, were unpatriotic and un-American in the extreme." Later last year, he failed to vote to create an independent inquiry to investigate the extremely un-American act. The truth of this incident–which you're all clearly afraid of—indeed makes you look bad. Your failure to acknowledge it as the threat that we know it to be shows that you are incapable of leadership and disinterested in a healthy democracy.
