Funding basic science research has kept the US ahead of all other counties in innovation. It has lead to a highly skilled workforce and to decades of business success and benefits across the US. Interfering with what can be studied to fit a political narrative will stall the research, prevent our best and brightest from STEM fields stunting innovation. Keep politics out of it, remove restricted word lists, and fully staff and fund NSF, NIH, CDC and other research agencies!
