There's no invasion. Trump's LA deployment is illegal. Protect 1A. Impeach now

This is NOT an INVASION. The courts have said that. Trump's deployment of marines and national guard troops in LA is illegal. Do something now while you still can. You swore to defend the constitution; Trump swore to see the laws faithfully executed. The rule under which Trump is operating, 10 J.S.C. 12406, provides that "the president may call into federal service members and units of the National Guard of any State in such numbers as he considers necessary to repel the invasion, suppress the rebellion, or execute those laws," in the event that "the United States, or any of the commonwealths or possessions, is invaded or is in danger of invasion by a foreign nation; there is a rebellion or danger of a rebellion against the authority of the government of the United States; or the president is unable with the regular forces to execute the laws of the United States." None of those conditions obtains. In short: the deployment of federal troops to Los Angeles violates the Posse Comitatus Act and does not qualify for any statutory exception And Trump now has arrogated the power to send force anywhere. Today Los Angeles, tomorrow Akron or Zanesville, Portland or Quincy. Trump also chillingly stated his intent to meet protesters against his military parade with force. Remember the First Amendment? "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances." The right to peaceable assembly for the redress of grievances is a constitutional right. Please: do not stand by while it gets shredded and negated. Join your colleagues to speak out and condemn Trump's illegal actions and his failure to uphold the constitution and see the laws faithfully executed. It's time to impeach. Find your courage and defend the constitution. Learn from history if you cannot find your courage. Every day you delay, our freedoms will be further curtailed and your courage will dwindle.
