Get Them Off Our Grids- Require Data Centers Make Power with Renewable Energy

Data centers for AI and other technological needs are draining power grids and resources all over the country, and demand is increasing everyday. AI servers particularly consume huge amounts of power and generate enormous levels of heat. I call on Congress to require data centers establish renewable energy sources at these centers such as solar panels and wind energy so they stay off the public grids. We are in a climate crisis, and many communities already experience brown outs and outages in the summers due to strain on the grid. These data centers are exacerbating a problem that already existed. Please get them off our grids and require they generate their own power.
