Please meet with Dems Abroad during their Door Knocks in Washington

I am a US citizen living outside the United States, like thousands of your constituents and 9 million other Americans. We are subjected to a “separate but equal” system of double taxation because the United States holds on to a definition of tax residency dating back to the civil war, in violation of global norms. It is not an exaggeration to say that our ability to have bank accounts, save for retirement, start a small business, or even marry freely is limited by an unjust tax code. Troublingly, despite a report from Senate Finance in 2015 acknowledging the problem and a House Oversight committee hearing about the unintended consequences of FATCA, our dire problems have gone ignored by Congress. Members of the Democrats Abroad Taxation Task Force will soon be in Washington D.C. As a constituent of yours, I would greatly appreciate it if you would agree to meet with them if they come knocking.
