Strip Sen. John Fetterman of his committee assignments. He has made it abundantly clear that his priorities lie with Fox News appearances and Republican interests, not the Pennsylvanians he was elected to represent. The Wall Street Journal's investigation, drawing on more than a dozen former staffers, text messages, and internal records, paints a damning picture of a senator who faked food poisoning to skip a meeting with three paralyzed veterans seeking healthcare access, then showed up minutes later in perfect health to do a Fox News interview.
This isn't a one-off lapse. Only 22% of Pennsylvania Democrats view Fetterman favorably, and he polls higher among Republicans than the state's own Republican senator. Committee seats are positions of trust and responsibility. Fetterman has forfeited that trust. Pennsylvania deserves representation from someone who will actually show up for constituents, especially those who sacrificed their bodies in service to this country. Remove him from his committees and replace him with someone who will do the job.
