Tax on corporations to assist low paid workers

I want to propose an extra tax specifically for companies with a certain percentage of their workforce living in poverty. The tax revenue would go towards Medicaid, Medicare, HUD, public health, SNAP, WIC, public transportation, etc. And would be explained by that if employees had better wages more tax (wage tax, consumption tax, etc) would go towards these programs and that profiteering is causing employed people to need public assistance.
