OPPOSED: AB 2047

I am writing to strongly oppose AB 2047. While intended for safety, the mandate for "blocking technology" effectively bans the open-source tools currently used in California's schools and small businesses. This bill criminalizes the "Right to Repair" and prevents students and engineers from modifying hardware for legitimate research. It will force consumers into expensive, proprietary ecosystems and turn functional machines into e-waste. Please vote NO on AB 2047 to protect California's role in technological innovation.
