Oppose Russell Vought for Director of OMB

I urge you to vote against the confirmation of Russell Vought as Director of the Office of Management and Budget. His enthusiastic support for the blatantly unconstitutional federal funding freeze and other misuses of financial power renders him unfit to serve as our government’s budget chief. After repeatedly distancing himself from Project 2025 throughout his campaign, President Trump has nominated one of its authors for this critical role — the fact that the President blatantly lied to and misled the American public in this way is enough to disqualify Vought on its own, but you must see that there are many other reasons. I sincerely hope you take your vow of office seriously and will defend the constitution by opposing Vought’s nomination.
