Protect Transgender Pilots

Today, I saw a disturbing video where Senator Ted Cruz says that the FAA is pandering to transgender witches in the name of woke culture. He was inferring that transgender pilots compromise the safety of the flight deck with our presence. Rest assured; transgender pilots have worked just as hard as the person sitting in the seat before them to get to where they are today. Transgender pilots have gone through the exact and in some cases more stringent airmen medical and training standards as the people before them. They have never sought special treatment based on gender identity. “Special treatment” or “woke ideology” cannot land an airplane. Will you urge the FAA administrator to you stand behind the transgender aviation community? Transgender pilots have worked just as hard as their cisgender counterparts to get to where they are today. I would hate to see all that work go to waste over some political talking points. The FAA and transgender pilots have had a healthy, longstanding relationship utilizing item 48. I don’t see why that needs to change. Sincerely.
