Restrict DOGE access to confidential personal data in HEMS

There are legitimate concerns about the potential misuse of confidential personal data contained in HUD's Enforcement Management System (HEMS). Providing DOGE access to this system, which contains sensitive details like medical records, financial information, and even the locations of domestic violence survivors, raises serious privacy risks that could violate federal laws. While DOGE claims its mission is to identify waste and inefficiency, granting access to these highly personal records under such pretenses seems inappropriate and unwarranted. There needs to be transparency around DOGE's motives and clear justification for why accessing HEMS is necessary to achieve its stated goals. Without proper safeguards, this access threatens to compromise the privacy and safety of some of society's most vulnerable individuals. Stronger oversight and restrictions are warranted to ensure DOGE operates within legal boundaries intended to protect civil liberties and individual privacy rights.
