Taxpayer-Funded “Games” Targeting Human Beings? Absolutely Disgusting!

This is an outrageous and profoundly inappropriate use of taxpayer resources. The federal government should not be spending public money to turn the pursuit, detention, and exclusion of human beings into entertainment. Yet that is exactly what this government arcade appears designed to do. The White House has launched an official government arcade on a .gov website featuring games that promote the administration’s political agenda—including Build the Wall and Rio Run, a game centered on border patrol along the Rio Grande. The White House itself describes Build the Wall as protecting the border from the “coming horde.” This is not satire. It is not a private website. It is official government messaging—and taxpayers are the ones footing the bill. Taxpayers should not be forced to fund political propaganda dressed up as entertainment. And we certainly should not be spending public resources creating games that reduce real human beings—families, children, asylum seekers, and migrants—to cartoonish targets to be rounded up, blocked, or defeated. There is something deeply disturbing about turning immigration enforcement into an arcade game. Government power is supposed to be exercised with seriousness, accountability, and respect for human dignity—not packaged as entertainment designed to make political messaging more appealing. Congress must demand a full accounting of this project. How much taxpayer money was spent creating, programming, maintaining, promoting, and hosting these games? Who authorized the expenditure? Which federal employees or contractors worked on it? What contracts and appropriations funded it? At a time when Americans are struggling to afford groceries, housing, healthcare, education, and basic necessities, the federal government has no business wasting public resources on political video games. Our tax dollars should fund schools, healthcare, infrastructure, veterans, public safety, and services Americans actually need—not an administration’s political arcade. Stop turning government into a propaganda machine. Stop wasting taxpayer resources. And stop turning human beings into targets for entertainment.
