RFK Spreads Lies about JAMA, NEJM & Esteemed Med Journals: Stop Him

Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s recent threats to ban NIH scientists from publishing in esteemed medical journals like The New England Journal of Medicine, JAMA, and The Lancet are a direct assault on scientific integrity and public health. Labeling these journals as “corrupt” and proposing government-run alternatives undermines decades of rigorous, peer-reviewed research that has been instrumental in advancing medical knowledge and patient care.
Such actions not only jeopardize the credibility of American scientific research but also risk isolating our scientific community from global collaboration. The journals in question are pillars of medical scholarship, and discrediting them without substantive evidence erodes trust in science and endangers public health initiatives.
Kennedy’s stance is not only scientifically unfounded but also politically motivated. It aims to suppress dissenting scientific opinions. This approach threatens the foundational principles of academic freedom and could have long-term detrimental effects on medical research and public health policy.
Given these concerns, I urge Congress to take immediate action to uphold the integrity of scientific research and protect the freedom of our nation’s scientists to publish in reputable, peer-reviewed journals without political interference.
RFK, Jr., his lies and misinformation must be stopped. Remove him.
