The President May Have Sold Our National Security. Congress Must Act.
4 so far! Help us get to 5 signers!
Dear Members of Congress,
Today, March 25, 2026, newly disclosed documents from Special Counsel Jack Smith’s investigation have revealed what many feared but could not prove: President Donald Trump did not accidentally retain classified documents. He appears to have done it deliberately — for money.
Here are the facts as documented in a January 2023 memo from Smith’s own team, now inadvertently confirmed by Trump’s own Justice Department:
Trump stole classified documents so sensitive that only six people in the entire U.S. government had authorized access to them. He took a classified map aboard a private flight to his Bedminster golf club in June 2022 — and prosecutors identified evidence that he may have shown it to passengers on board, including his now-White House Chief of Staff Susie Wiles. Smith’s investigators concluded that Trump “possessed classified documents pertinent to his business interests” — establishing what they called a clear motive for retaining them.
And what business interests? Around the time of that Bedminster flight, Trump was finalizing partnerships with Saudi-backed LIV Golf and meeting at Bedminster with Yasir al-Rumayyan — the head of Saudi Arabia’s sovereign wealth fund, the same entity funneling tens of millions of dollars to the Trump family.
Let that sink in. We are currently at war in the Middle East. American troops are dying. And evidence now exists that this President may have shown classified materials to individuals connected to a foreign government that bankrolled his family’s business empire.
This is not a political dispute. This is a potential act of treason.
And yet Jack Smith’s full report remains sealed under order of Trump-appointed Judge Aileen Cannon. The full flight manifest from Bedminster remains redacted. The country the classified map depicted remains unknown. The American people — whose security was compromised — have no right to know.
We demand that Congress immediately subpoena the full unredacted Bedminster flight manifest, compel the release of Volume II of Jack Smith’s report, and open a full investigation into whether classified national security information was used to enrich the Trump family.
Our troops deserve to know their commander-in-chief didn’t sell the map. So do we.
Respectfully — and with fury,
