An open letter to the U.S. Congress

164 mass shootings so far this year. Unacceptable

7 so far! Help us get to 10 signers!

GunViolenceArchive now reports that there were three additional mass shootings on April 15. And two yesterday. Plus one so far today. An additional seven people are dead in those six shootings. And an astounding additional 50 people are injured. 32 of them at a 16th birthday party in Alabama. 164 mass shootings so far this year. It’s behind time to ban assault weapons and large magazines. To require universal background checks. To close the Charleston loophole. And then keep going. We must stop the gun violence in this country.
