Resign. You’re out of other options.

We know you love unintelligent people. We know it from inference- you surround yourself with them. We know it from practice- you said it out loud- that stupid people love you. It’s been a point of pride for you since 2016- not something I’d be proud of, but you do you. Up until recently, it’s seems to have been working out quite nicely. However, your bravado about- and subsequent reliance upon- these lower intellect individuals has painted you into a metaphorical corner. They cheered you on when you made fun of the handicapped, not realizing that eventually you’d cut disability funding or medical assistance regarding their own. They worshipped your contentions that undocumented immigrants were criminal threats, not comprehending that the farms would fail without them and grocery prices would soar. They celebrated invading Iran, only finding out after the fact that the gas prices would go through the roof. The GOP who blindly followed you are waking up. They’re impeding your appetite for destruction. Republican congressmen and women are taking sides with democrats. Your constituents are on television crying about slashed benefits, deficits in social services, high cost of living, and feeling lied to. Followers who were excited for your policies to harm other people now find themselves to be collateral damage to your mission of hatred and divisiveness. Your wife is making statements you claim you were completely unaware of. The statements have been verifiably untrue, but damaging nonetheless. Her attempt to suddenly distance herself publicly from you and your crimes speaks volumes about the pressure fractures in the White House and in your own marriage. Your cabinet can’t help you, because you strategically chose people who would provide the yes-man treatment instead of the sound advice panel you were meant to select. They’re no more intelligent than your fan base, and literally everything they do has only detracted from the polished shine on the golden toilet of your presidency. And now your approval rating hovers around 30%. That’s including ratings from republicans. They’re leaving you behind, and they’re going to want someone to blame. Based on recent polls, it doesn’t look like the scapegoat will be Obama or Biden. *hint* it’s you. Now is the time to get right with the lord. If you can’t confess, you can at least resign. It’s all that is left.
