Standing With You Against H.R. 1

I’m writing not to persuade you—because I know you already stand on the right side of this—but to thank you. Thank you for being a fierce advocate for human dignity, for working families, for healthcare access, for immigrants, for LGBTQ+ rights, and for economic justice. Your voice in Congress is one I trust completely. The so-called “One Big Beautiful Bill Act” (H.R. 1) is as cynical as it is cruel. Slashing Medicaid, tripling ICE funding, gutting SNAP, and attacking gender-affirming care and reproductive rights—it’s a wishlist of MAGA cruelty designed to punish the vulnerable and reward the ultra-wealthy. I know you see this for what it is, and I know you’ll vote against it. I just want you to know you’re not alone. I’m with you, and so are so many others who believe a budget should reflect our values—not serve as a weapon against our neighbors. Keep fighting the good fight. We see you. We’re grateful for you. And we’ve got your back.
