Vote Yea on H.R. 3684

Hi, I’m contacting you to ask that you support Senator Wyden, Toomey, and Lummis’s amendment to the cryptocurrency provision of the infrastructure bill (H.R. 3684) . This amendment will ensure that the provision does not dramatically expand financial surveillance, harm innovation, or undermine human rights. Policies that impact basic freedom and the future of the Internet should be debated carefully and should never be attached to must-pass bills. I reject the Warner-Portman-Sinema amendment because it cedes the US's role in crypto. This will lead to a diminished role of the US and US dollar in a global market. Proof of Stake has several unique benefits over Proof of Work (including reduced energy consumption), and it should be given fair treatment. Thank you.
