An open letter to the U.S. Congress

Uphold human rights for Venezuelan migrants facing deportation

4 so far! Help us get to 5 signers!

The deportation of Venezuelan migrants from the United States to El Salvador without due process is a grave violation of human rights and legal norms. These individuals were subjected to inhumane treatment, physical abuse, and denied basic legal protections. Such actions not only dehumanize the migrants, but undermine the fundamental principles of justice and human dignity. It is imperative that proper procedures are followed, allowing for fair hearings and the opportunity to contest deportation decisions. Deporting individuals en masse with no regard for their circumstances or potential asylum claims is an unacceptable breach of international laws and conventions. I urge you to address this injustice, uphold human rights standards, and ensure that all migrants are treated with dignity and afforded due process under the law.
