Well, Senator - you have sat in silence in support of a convicted felon as President, never once saying a word against him, no matter what your private convictions - and now you're in the position of having to support that person's lawlessness against the Venezualan leader, a terrible man to be sure, but what kind of moral pretzels are you going to now have to twist for yourself???
