Today is indigenous peoples day and I am once again reminded of the United States many treaty obligations that remain unmet. Despite that treatiea are supposed to have the same legal strength as the constitution, we are breaking those treaties. The violations range from unmet financial obligations, to a lack of representation in Congress, to active occupation and defacement of unceded land. The United States built it's wealth on stolen land and labor and the very least it can do is uphold it's end of legally binding agreements it made while holding the other party at gunpoint. Return the Six Grandfather's, fulfill our treaty obligations, return federally held land.
