Denounce Elon Musk's Attack on Judicial Authority​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

I am writing to ask that you sever ties with Elon Musk and explicitly denounce his dangerous anti-constitutional rhetoric that threatens our country. Mr. Musk attended a rally where he said: "Any federal judge can stop any action by the president. This is insane. This has got to stop. It has got to stop at the federal level at the state level.” This statement is a direct attack on our system of checks and balances. This is not merely a misunderstanding—it is a deliberate attempt to undermine the judiciary's essential role in our government and elevate the presidency beyond the constraints established by our founders. Our nation’s founders deliberately established three branches of government to prevent any single branch from becoming too powerful. The judiciary’s authority to review executive actions isn’t a flaw in our system—it’s a feature specifically designed to protect the American people from potential overreach. As President, you have sworn an oath to "preserve, protect, and defend the Constitution of the United States." This oath requires more than words—it demands action. I implore you to 1) Publicly denounce Mr. Musk's statement in the strongest terms. 2) Privately communicate to Mr. Musk that his views are unacceptable. 3) Immediately terminate any formal or informal advisory role he holds. His recent statement demonstrates he should have no role in advising our government. Someone who so brazenly advocates for dismantling constitutional safeguards cannot be trusted with influence over public policy. The actions I am calling for are not exceptional—they are the minimum required of your office. The presidency demands unwavering dedication to our constitutional principles, even when that means severing relationships with wealthy or influential supporters. Please, place this country above personal relationships or political convenience.
