East Palestine Response

Republican Ohio governor Mike DeWine has refused federal assistance from President Biden, who, he said, called to offer “anything you need.” DeWine said he had not called back to take him up on the offer. “We will not hesitate to do that if we’re seeing a problem or anything, but I’m not seeing it,” he said.  Governor, use every resource in your power and offers of assistance to clean up this horrendous mess. We’ve worked so hard to clean our waterways and air and this is a travesty to all of that work. People and the environment are. at risk.
