I read on NPR.org about “President Trump's executive order, issued on Monday, to freeze foreign assistance for 90 days.” I thought Congress controls our purse strings? Can this be fought? I want spending on US aid — which includes US aid workers’ jobs — to continue. Stopping aid while evaluating programs doesn’t just hurt the people who need aid.
