URGENT! NO MORE IMPUNITY FOR ISRAEL. CONGRESS ACT NOW!

I am contacting you today to urge you to support immediate congressional action in line with the Bogotá Emergency Conference of States. They unanimously agreed that ‘the era of impunity must end — and that international law must be enforced without fear or favour’ (allAfrica.com) Specifically, I urge Congress to: 1. Ban shipments of arms, munitions, military fuel, dual‐use items, and related military equipment to Israel—as agreed by 12 states, including Bolivia, Colombia, and South Africa 2. Prevent transit, docking, and servicing of vessels carrying military cargo to Israel in U.S. ports 3. Block arms shipments on U.S.-flagged vessels and de-flag non-compliant ships 4. Conduct an urgent review of public contracts and federal funding to ensure they aren’t supporting or entrenching Israel’s illegal occupation 5. Mandate accountability for international crimes, requiring robust, impartial investigations and prosecutions under U.S. and international law 6. Support the use of universal jurisdiction, allowing U.S. courts to pursue serious war crimes committed in the Occupied Palestinian Territory These steps mirror the six-point plan adopted by 12 states at the summit .
