Word is coming that some Democratic senators are ready to scrap the demands for ACA subsidies and gi along with Republicans to reopen the government. If this is your thinking, I desperately hope you'll reconsider. This is a terrible time for many people, but giving in now without having gotten anything for the effort and ceding the only leverage you have will not help Americans. Please, PLEASE stand firm and do what you can to convince others to do the same. And BE LOUD in the press about what you're doing and why! We have your back.
