Investigate Musk's companies and freeze assets

Elon Musk, through his extensive network of companies and influence, is actively working to take control of key financial institutions and departments within the U.S. government. His actions, along with the involvement of certain employees, are causing significant harm to American citizens, the economy, and global stability. This poses a grave threat to democracy and requires immediate action. As California has long been the home to many of Musk’s ventures—such as Tesla, SpaceX, Neuralink, The Boring Company, and X (formerly Twitter)—it is essential for the state’s leadership to take decisive steps. I urge you to: Hold executives, employees, and others involved in these anti-democratic efforts accountable, potentially using the California RICO Act (Penal Code §186 et seq.) to address any organized criminal activities. Utilize state authority to freeze assets, issue subpoenas, and, if necessary, seize control of Musk-affiliated companies implicated in undermining democratic governance, under California Business and Professions Code §17200. Initiate a comprehensive investigation into Musk’s companies, probing their involvement in these actions, in accordance with California Penal Code Section 182, which criminalizes conspiracy, and other relevant statutes. Safeguard workers and whistleblowers who may have knowledge of these activities and wish to come forward, in line with California Labor Code §1102.5. California must not remain passive while our democracy is threatened. I urge you to use every available legal, legislative, and regulatory means to address this urgent issue. The people of California are counting on you to defend the rule of law and protect our democracy from corporate overreach and authoritarian agendas.
